Emergency Water Ban Lifted
Effective today, the Emergency Water Ban on outside water usage is being lifted.
The main storage tank has returned to a full level and with the current weather pattern we believe that the necessary water levels can be maintained. We will continue to monitor the tank level on a daily basis. Should the level drop significantly, we will institute the Partial Ban as outlined in the last message of June 12, 2008.
With careful management of this precious resource, we can avoid future water usage restrictions. Please refrain voluntarily from watering lawns and any unnecessary outside use of water. Automatic water uses, such as timed irrigation systems, should be avoided. Be aware of the water you use and please conserve water in all practical ways.
As your Commissioners, we thank you for your patience and cooperation. We welcome your questions and suggestions.
Sincerely,
Contoocook Village Precinct Commissioners
Robert Carpenter William Chapin Mark Hemmerlein
