Facility Use – Use of the Hopkinton/Webster Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) facility is restricted to residents only. Residents are required to purchase and display a sticker so employees can identify residents’ vehicles. This is to insure that disposal privileges are not extended to non-taxpayers. Stickers may be purchased at the facility or at the Town Clerk’s office in Contoocook.

Disposal Fees – The fee structure is not designed to raise revenue from residents; however, it is necessary to charge for some items to prevent the wholesale disposal of materials that are costly to the towns. Each summer the facility holds, at the request of the Conservation Commission, an "Environmental Appreciation Day" at which all residents (excluding businesses) can dispose of all items at no charge.
