Health

The Town Administrator serves as the Health Officer, recommended by the Select Board and appointed by the State, responsible for enforcement of public health rules and laws. The Health Officer inspects foster homes, day care facilities, septic systems and nuisance complaints such as garbage. The Health Officer is involved in any issue that would affect the public health of the residents of the community.
