FILING PERIOD FOR TOWN OFFICE

Filing Period for Town Office
 

Any registered voter wishing to sign-up and run for elected office should go to the Town Clerk/Tax Collector office at Town Hall, 330 Main Street, Hopkinton between Wednesday, January 25, 2023, and Friday February 3, 2023.

The following elected positions in the Town of Hopkinton are open.

  • 2 positions - Select Board Member - 3-year term
  • 1 position - Treasurer - 3-year term
  • 2 positions - Budget Committee Member - 3-year term
  • 2 positions - Library Trustee - 3-year term
  • 1 position - Cemetery Trustee - 3-year term
  • 1 position - Trustee of Trust Funds - 3-year term

Election Day is Tuesday, March 14, 2023.  Terms begin at the close of Town Meeting on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Town Clerk/Tax Collector Hours
Monday & Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday noon to 4:00 p.m.
Thursday 8:00 a.m. to noon
Friday, January 27, 2023, 8:00 a.m. to noon

Friday, February 3, 2023, 8:00 a.m. to noon & 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Please note:  You must be a registered voter to run for elective office.  Deadline to register is Tuesday, January 24, 2023.  You may register with the Town Clerk/Tax Collector prior to the deadline, or with the Supervisors of the Checklist on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall (330 Main St., Hopkinton)
