The Assessing Office is responsible for administration and maintenance of the assessing records of the Town of Hopkinton.  The Town contracts with Cross Country Appraisal Group for its assessing services, including the appraisal and assessment of all taxable and non-taxable property, analysis of property valuations, preparing annual market analysis/studies, and managing all exemptions and tax credits.  The duties of the assessor are performed independently, using technical judgment, adhering to municipal ordinances, and in compliance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire.  For more information or to have questions answered, contact Cara Johnson, Administrative/Assessing Assistant at (603) 746-8258.

UNDERSTANDING NH PROPERTY TAXES:  The official New Hampshire Assessing Reference Manual, is a helpful resource.

The tax maps and the property tax assessment cards are available through these links (also accessible from the main page of the Town of Hopkinton website), and at the Hopkinton Town Hall, at 330 Main Street.
