HOPKINTON Fallen Firefighters Memorial

The Hopkinton Firefighters Association Memorial Committee is in the process of creating a memorial dedicated to any firefighter who has made the ultimate sacrifice protecting any person in the town Hopkinton. The Hopkinton Fire Department and Ambulance Service will do everything they can to respond to your emergency, regardless of the time and regardless of the weather. The reality is, sometimes a situation becomes too dangerous and claims a first responder’s life.

Fire Chief Richard Schaefer was Hopkinton’s First Line of Duty Death. September 2nd will mark ten years since his passing.
