Memorial Day Parade - Hopkinton Village

The town’s Memorial Day parade is taking place in Hopkinton Village at 10 AM on Monday, May 30, starting at the Harold Martin School. The parade will include the VFW Color Guard, the Hopkinton Town Band, veterans from the VFW and American Legion Post 81, Antique cars, Scouts, and youth sports teams.  

Jason Lang and Rob Dapice are organizing the parade this year. If you know of a veteran who would like to march in the parade, please contact Rob at robdapice@gmail.com. Veterans who cannot walk for health reasons can ride in one of the cars with advance notice. Veterans do not need to wear a uniform. Family members may also join the parade carrying the burial flag of a deceased servicemember.

Additionally, flags will be placed at each veteran’s grave in all seven of Hopkinton’s cemeteries. Volunteers of all ages are welcome; if you would like to volunteer, please contact Sarah Hofe at nhsarah@gmail.com.
