Filing Period for Town Office

Any registered voter wishing to sign up and run for elected office should go to the Town Clerk/Tax Collector office at Town Hall, 330 Main Street, Hopkinton between Wednesday, January 24, 2024, and Friday February 2, 2024.

The following elected positions in the Town of Hopkinton are open:

• 1 position - Select Board Member  3-year term

• 1 position - Moderator 2-year term

• 1 position - Town Clerk/Tax Collector 1-year term (to fill term)

• 1 position - Supervisor of the Checklist 6-year term

• 2 positions - Budget Committee Member 3-year term

• 1 position - Library Trustee 1-year term (to fill term)

• 2 positions - Library Trustee 3-year term

• 1 position - Cemetery Trustee 3-year term

• 1 position - Trustee of Trust Funds 3-year term

Election Day is Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Terms begin at the close of the Town Meeting on Thursday, March 21, 2024.

Friday, February 2, 2024, 8:00 a.m. to noon & 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Please note: You must be a registered voter to run for elective office. Deadline to register is Tuesday, January 23, 2024. You may register with the Supervisors of the Checklist on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Presidential Primary election at the Hopkinton Middle/High School (297 Park Ave., Contoocook)
