HOPKINTON 2025 TAX RATE SET

The 2025 Hopkinton tax rate has been set. Paper bills were mailed on December 15, 2025. Bills are also available on the Town website. Payments will be due on Friday, January 16.

Here is a breakdown of the rate:

To determine the tax for your property, use this formula:

Assessed Value X Tax Rate /1,000 = Entire year tax

Entire Year Tax – July Tax Payment = Tax due in December

An Example:

A $500,000 property which is not in a Precinct where a payment of $5,653 was made as the July tax payment.

 500,000 X 23.35 / 1,000 = $11,675

$11,675 - $5,653 = $6,022
