PHASE 1

PHASE 1 HOUSING NEEDS ASSESSMENT COMPLETE!

In 2022, the Town of Hopkinton’s Housing Committee received funding from New Hampshire Housing for a HOP grant to conduct a Housing Needs Assessment, Phase 1 of the Town’s housing initiative. Information about Phase 1 can be found in the following reports.


PHASE 2

PHASE 2 AND 3 COMMUNITY OUTREACH, REGULATORY AUDIT, AND DRAFT AMENDMENTS ARE COMPLETE!

The Town has received an additional $43,750 to complete Phases 2 and 3 of its housing initiative. Phase 2 involved a code audit of the Town’s land use regulations to identify regulatory barriers that limit housing choices and hinder the development of a diverse housing stock that meets the needs of all demographics, including seniors and young families. Phase 3 involved developing regulatory amendments informed by the findings of Phase 1, Phase 2, and community input.
